I wish we had a Wegmans close by again… I love that grocery store!!! Happy to share Aspen! I just told my husband last night that proximity to a Wegmans would be a huge factor in deciding where we move to. However, dining out is one thing we really enjoy.

But, we never go without a coupon or a deal. It really does make it as cheap as eating at home. Especially if you can control your portions and bring leftovers home. We usually save eating out for when life gets in the way, since dining out with a 2 year old and a newborn is soooo not fun.

But writing this post made me so hungry for Olive Garden, that we ended up there the day I finished this. I realize this is well-meant… but are you suggesting that a human being can survive for a week on nothing but Olive Garden and PBJs?

Technically yes. People can survive on much, much worse. Whether or not you would want to is totally up to you. The main reason we eat out so much? Games and practices from pm to am.

My husband noticed that I do best on days when I fix all the days meals during breakfast-when my energy is higher and I am not drained. So I toss stuff in the crockpot on low in the morning or on high depending on if the meat is frozen or not around pm.

I hope that helps and invigorates you to keep going with the at home dinner. We love Wegmans too! If you sign up for their email list you get — buy one meal get one FREE! They send the coupon out every once in a while but you can use it over and over until expires!

None of us are massive eaters. We are wondering if we all need to pay to enter a character dining restaurant or can we book for 3 but pay for 2 meals that we could share? That's so exciting! As far as sharing meals and food prices go, if a restaurant has "per-person" prices as most character dining, buffets, family-style and prix fixe meals are , then each person is charged the full price.

An adult could eat from the kids' menu, but they would still be charged as an adult. However, if you're at a table-service or quick-service restaurant, and all of the menu items have individual prices, then it's toadally fine to share meals some restaurants may add a split plate charge.

An adult could also eat from the kids' menu at the price that the menu states. Hope this helps with clearing up the differences!

The food is ok but we found the prices were way out of reach for most people. We go there to have fun, not be constantly checking food prices!

Thank you so much. We will be there next week Sunday and I am looking forward to checking out everything you have posted. Great help! We will be visiting soon with a family of 4 and making a once-in-a-lifetime trip. We will be Celebrating Birthdays for both of the kids and.

Get free "celebration buttons" at guest services that say all those things! For my 50th birthday I was sung to in every restaurant, and some rides, each in a different way and often was given a treat as well.

When we went for the first time without kids, we wrote it as a button and were treated to a dole whip by the cast members who got a kick out of it. One of my favorites not on this list is Sunshine Seasons on the lower level of The Land pavilion in Epcot.

Show 2 more. This cafe was very cozy and bigger than it looks! There is some street seating outside, a big open room in the front, a smaller quieter room in the back, and a large outdoor patio in the back!

There were several people working on laptops, and others gathering socially. The staff were helpful at answering questions about the menu. The brown sugar poptart was delicious!

I also enjoyed the Gold Hart latte, although it was VERY sweet! I am lactose intolerant, but they had plenty of milk alternative options for lattes. I also tried the drip coffee, and it was exceptional! I don't normally like black coffee, but their drip dark roast didn't need anything to make it tastier!

I enjoyed my first visit to White Hart Cafe. The salad ingredients are extremely fresh. I asked the chef if the ingredients used are locally grown, and he said they try hard to use only local foods which is a huge plus in my book.

The Chai tea and potato wedges were also delicious!! I like the laid back atmosphere of the Cafe, it has unique character and the staff are great.

Pricing is decent and the selection of menu items is sufficient. Great coffee shop! They have kombucha on tap. I had the pumpkin spice, and it was so good!! I also grabbed a gluten free apple cinnamon muffin, since they had them. It was tasty, but could have used more cinnamon.

Hubby had a cortado, which he really liked. However, it did take some time to get on a busy Saturday morning. Allow time! Loved the wing tip chairs in the windows! Very cool vibe!! Slide 1 of 4. Show 4 more. What a refreshing experience - pleasantly surprised.

The gentleman taking our order was polite and friendly. We got burgers and a a chicken sandwich - both were good. We then all got different sides so we could try the options and they were all great! Restaurant was super clean! We will definitely be back! Only gave 2 stars because the nuggets were good!

The top half was done as I got into the middle, I stopped and just spreaded it apart and as you can see it's raw🤮. Very friendly counter staff. Prompt service. Fortunately the dining room wasn't crowded. The drive thru was a steady stream of customers during our entire visit.

The fresh banana shake needed no straw - just a spoon! The fries were not good they look like some one just sucked the life of them! I can make better then that but corn dog were great.

Location is a bit difficult to get in and out of when busy. However, quick service and the food is what you expect for fast food. One of the few places that stays open late. Also quick note, I was charged for the cup when all I wanted was water with my dinner.

I thought that was a bit unusual. The girl in the window was so sweet and helpful! She gave me both a straw and a spoon for my shake without me even having to ask and she asked if we wanted any dipping sauce which was so considerate and I was gonna ask for that too but it was really nice that she beat me to it!

Our order was correct, the drive thru was super fast, and the food was super hot and fresh. Quesadillas had a good amount of sauce and my onion rings were crispy! Need a place to stay?

They are made with dry milk powder. They offer vegan donuts every other Thursday!!! The friendliest employees around Lynchburg!! Such yummy hot cider donuts and you can get them all year round not just in the fall! Really appreciate the gluten free Tuesdays!

Their rewards program gave us a free Dozie last visit! Our son lives in Lynchburg as well as other friends and I keep hearing about the place so on our way home on Dec 28 morning we decided to stop and try them. Should have ordered a half dozen! They were delicious.

Will be stopping there on our next visit! Our family stops road trips all over the country and we always stop to check out unique donut shops. These donuts were transcendental, honestly the best I've ever had. Hot cider donuts with delicious toppings- mmmm. Mine had crumbly caramel and it made me swoon.

The shop was super cute, tons of character. Can't wait to visit again! If you like getting donuts from the Mama Crockett's truck, then you'll love their store!

I love how they have different flavor options, like pb dust and chocolate! They even have several dip options! They also have some different Mama Crockett's merchandise you can get, like t shirts and stickers!

Order out or dine in, this is a really great place for experiencing something new, fresh, and delicious. Every time I choose la carreta for lunch or diner I'm never disappointed. Great for entertaining guest at home or there. A diverse variety of beer and other alcohol drinks.

Try for your first time and you'll be a fan too. As soon as I walked in, i could smell the delicious food, so i knew i was in for a treat. I ordered 2 different alcohol beverages, both were very strong, wish it had more flavor to it. The food was on point tho and loved it!

Visiting from out of state and had a craving for some authentic Mexican food. This place hit the mark. Great chips with hot salsa that is actually hot, great burrito, and super fast service. I'll definitely be back my next time through. Disappointed in this location. Forest location employees are much more friendly, observant to our needs, quality of food.

taco shells at Forest location are fresh and presented well, whereas this location, the shells were not fresh, food was presented poorly. We won't be visiting here again. This was the first time I dined here, and the food was good but not great.

Not my best dining experience, if I was grading, this would be a C-. The service was fast, but the hype about the service didn't live up to it. Next time I am in the area, I may give them another shot. LA Carreta on Langhorne Rd.

Is a staple for the Mexican restaurant community in Lynchburg, VA. They have over 5 locations here in Central VA. And there full premium alcoholic beverage service and bar are to die for Great food Decent environment Acceptable hours LA Carreta is a great bite to eat for the multicultural individual!

Great food, good vibes and lovely workers. It came out fast and the facilities were clean. First time going to Five Guys and had an amazing experience. Very unique to set it apart from any other fast food place, and the prices match the quality of food. Fries are to die for in my personal opinion, and the drink machines are the best.

Definitely recommend if you're craving fast food but don't mind spending an extra bit for amazing quality that will have you wanting to go back more. Always accommodating to gluten allergies and fun soda machine with many flavor options!

The fries have been noticeably less quantity than in years past and burgers are smaller. Not good for peanut allergies but appreciate the use of fresh handcut potatoes!

My burger was cool, like no warmth in it anywhere and my husband's was pink. The service was excellent but the prices were way too high for the burgers to be so bad. I am never going back.

Had a fantastic experience at this Five Guys! The staff were friendly and fun, clearly enjoying working together and have a light-hearted attitude, all while making my food exactly as I ordered it and in a reasonable amount of time.

And I feel very comfortable saying this is one chain that has done an amazing job of sticking to its core of making a few items very, very well. And the Lynchburg location is no different.

Well done! Track your travel spending and split costs with friends. Plan your trip. Keep your budget organized. Split the cost between tripmates. Wanderlog does it all.

Try it on Wanderlog. We visited today for Lynchburg Restaurant Week. Their food was delicious, the outdoor seating was pretty, and the customer service was amazing! Our waitress noticed we were ordering an appetizer and entree and splitting them, so she cut the entree in half.

And we told her "no onions" on the entree, but didn't know the appetizer often has onions too. So she double-checked with us to see if she should leave the onions off the appetizer too. Awesome service! Cheerful, prompt, detail-oriented. My first visit was a great experience; the sliced brisket was on point.

It melted in your mouth. With their homemade sauces, flavor was a taste adventure. The staff were friendly and welcoming. One of Lynchburg's hidden gems.

Out of Towner, ate here 3 times in a row. Really good food, grilled chicken wrap awesome. The wings very good. Pulled pork nachos very good.

Gouda hamburger was good. And they hamburger was really good. I would also recommend the fired pickles. All the food tasted good. The brisket was amazing! And I want to give a shout-out to the coleslaw, it was flavorful.

Everyone in my family liked what they got. The staff were very helpful and nice, but there were multiple problems with our order. Two main dishes had to be sent back because it was not what we ordered, and we were not given sauce the sauce until we asked again.

The service was fast and friendly. Our food was top notch. We got the fried pickles, assorted sandwiches, and some dessert! We will definitely return 👍. The food was amazing! The owner is super nice and friendly. The food is fresh, hot, and served quickly.

We had the smoked pork BBQ Burrito and Texas Destroyer brisket sandwich, followed by banana pudding. You can also buy by the pound. Our family looks forward to eating here.

Have eaten here several times with co-workers. Always quality Why My Rating? Group Size: We have 5 in our family but I have been several times with 2 or 3 people. Always served well. Large groups would be a bit cramped Food: The food is consistently good, even great.

I love the spicy pizza called the Hot Link. My wife loves the Veg Out. Great ingredients and always prepared well. Location: Wards Rd is not a fun road but at least this is off in a shopping center.

Easy to find and access. Staff: The staff is always welcoming and helpful. Never have had a bad experience. Teamwork is visible every time I have been there.

Atmosphere: The restaurant is exactly as you'd expect it. Nothing extravagant but enough to make the experience good. There is outdoor seating as well. Cleanliness: The restaurant was clean and comfortable. Prices: Very reasonable. The line was long and the online orders just kept rolling in.

I decided to wait, I mean if there are that many orders I had to stay and eat. They worked down the list and line quickly, although it got backed up again while I was eating.

There are plenty of pre-made options available and of course lots of options for create your own. They have their standard thin crust, high rise crust, gluten free and even cauliflower crust options.

Wood fired and cooked quickly, tasted great. They have desserts, bottled drinks, including beer, and fountain drinks. Plenty of parking available. This place is great! Service is amazing, food is phenomenal, staff is very friendly.

Omar introduced me to the dairy-free half pizza option. Highly recommend this… tastes just like pizza should! Thanks for the great experience especially for a lactose-free customer! A great home cooked meal. Light on salt for those who need low sodium diet. Portions are generous.

A great place to eat by yourself or with someone else. Scrambled eggs with American Cheese. Three crispy slices of bacon, home-cut diced potatoes, and wheat toast, buttered to perfection—bottomless, hot coffee.

On another day we had lunch. It was delicious. The daily specials are nine dollars. I have eaten in restaurants from the East Coast to the West Coast and I have not found another restaurant that has the combination of quality, quantity and low prices that the Country Kitchen has and heir food is absolutely delicious!

It has all other Home Cooking restaurants beat. Tom C. What an absolutely amazing find! Service was supper friendly and fast. Drink were constantly refilled and the food was amazing. Food like mama used to make! Love their fried chops and they also have great hamburger steak. Portions are large and prices are cheap.

Just be aware that it is cash or check only. The staff are always wonderful and the prices are so reasonable. One of my favorite restaurants and truly a Lynchburg staple! What an experience!

The line was crazy long at pm, but it moved along. So the wait was not that long. I was surprised to see an employee "directing traffic" when you got to the front of the line.

He would direct you to the next open window to place your order. The number of things you can order is huge. I actually could have used more time in line to peruse the menu. The hot fudge brownie was awesome. My wife got a coconut ice cream hot fudge sundae. It was great too.

I will definitely have to go back to try some more of their many many flavors of ice cream. Great ice cream. Cheap, easy parking, big portions.

Was a great end for an warm summer evening visiting with friends and family. Next time you are in Lynchburg, stop by.

Can't wait to visit again. The kids sized dipped cone was the perfect size! We also enjoyed the chocolate shake! A must try place for warm summer nights! On a hot summer night we rolled up to this neat little ice cream shop where we were greeted by Mrs.

Goodie herself and given some good information and instructions which was nice since we had not been there before. Our party of 9 was served quickly and efficiently and our treats were a welcome flavor burst of enjoyment. There was a wide variety of things to choose from, but we had ice cream cones that were soo good.

We sat around one of many outdoor picnic tables and had some nice family time. Thanks for an enjoyable end to our night. Great, Great ice cream you will not be disappointed. Customer service is stellar, my daughter turned me on to there Great treats. Her and her friends at Liberty U come here to sooth there ice cream cravings.

A visit to Lynchburg is incomplete without a stop by this favorite establishment. Amble portions, great flavor, and wonderful community feel gives Mister Goodies that small town Norman Rockwell feel.

Quick and friendly service completes the perfect summer night feel. Pizza restaurant. Great as usual. Fresh, tasty and hot. Wonderful take on Italian food and blessed staff.

We stopped at Ledo's after a full morning of Black Friday shopping. We were immediately greeted by a friendly man and shown to our table. We were talking with the very friendly server and ordered. Most of our party got personal sized pizza, and 1 got a Stromboli.

All of the food was well cooked and liked delicious. Everyone was very happy with their food, and we had a nice time chatting and eating a late lunch. My wife and I wanted to try something different than our usual. I wanted a calzone, and she wanted pizza, so we settled here for take out.

I pre-ordered online for a specific time about an hour before picking it up. The food was hot and delicious. You can tell they made it just enough time before my scheduled pick up for it to be perfect.

Thank you Ledo! Not crowded at all. The pizza was great. If you are looking for a different kind of crust, give them a try. Stopped in here with a group of 6 on a Sunday afternoon. The pizza is delicious, great crust, a bit of a novelty that it's rectangular instead of typical round, for what that's worth.

A plus for me is that there is actual sausage crumbles on the meatlovers instead of sliced sausage. Service was fantastic and prompt. Enjoyed our time and meal here, will be back if we're ever in the area.

Well, I'll start with the good, the young lady I dealt with was great, friendly and helpful. We did enjoy the crust and sauce on the pizza. And the quoted time for pick up was spot on.

So let's now talk about the rest. My daughter ordered build your own pasta, only 2 types of pasta available, she asked for spaghetti with Alfredo sauce, spinach and mushroom. They forgot her spinach and the pasta was just a tad shy of al dente that it should have been.

As for me, I order the chicken and broccoli Alfredo and added mushrooms. The portion size for both meals was great, however, the sauce was awful. Not enough chicken or broccoli and they used CANNED mushrooms!!! The sauce taste like it was fresh out the jar of say, Prego or ragu pasta sauce. Really gross.

It lacked any real authentic flavor. No seasoning to it at all. I might have forgiven that if they would at least dress it up a bit. There was no pepper, no parmesan and definitely not a garlic flavor. The most disappointing part and it really took away from a great pizza crust and sauce, the CANNED mushrooms.

It did zero justice for the plates. For this to be an "Italian" style restaurant I was seriously disappointed all around. My daughter was too. This definitely did not satisfy the craving for a good pasta dinner.

I might also add, the garlic bread was disappointing as well, it lacked flavor even though it was cooked well, not burnt and a crispy edge. It just didn't have any flavor, and only had seasoning on one side. Honestly Walmart garlic bread has more flavor.

And that is a comparison that should never have to be made with an actual restaurant!! Would I go back?? Maybe, if only for the pizza, just minus the canned, flavorless, rubbery mushrooms. I was so disappointed. I have one more "Italian" restaurant to try here before giving up completely.

So it's not likely I'd go back, super high priced for the quality of the food. Seriously, fresh mushrooms and spices are not that expensive and it pays for itself in return business and flavor, if nothing else.

Please, fresh ingredients please!!! By far the best breakfast in town! All the waitresses and cooks are top notch!
