Sour Cream Did you know that you can use sour cream and plain Greek yogurt interchangeably in many recipes? In fact, I have even occasionally used just plain regular yogurt before in baked goods instead of sour cream.

You barely notice the taste difference this way but it can save you money if one of these items is more expensive than the other! On the rare occasion that I think the extra richness of half and half would add something to the recipe, I make my own by taking 2 tbsp.
