For poly fabrics, we use specialist dye sublimation printing, which fuses the ink deep into the fibers of the material. The natural material samples are beautiful, as they retain their base tone and have a soft, more muted color reproduction due to the natural fibers.

This results in a charming, authentic print. Dye sublimation printing on poly fabrics produces vibrant, bold and sharp colors, however, each fabric will look different based on the tightness of the weave and the yarns used.

This is why digital printing samples are so good, as you get to feel the fabric and see the print quality. Your fabric samples are sent "As it is" which means that when your sample is printed we will loosely cut around the edges. Therefore the print that you will receive will be the entire fabric piece with your print on it and a potential small border of the plain fabric around the edges.

Design tips. Uploading tips When uploading an image into our size sample preview, your image will be resized to fit the dimensions you have selected.

If you upload a very large file, it will be reduced to the size of the sample ordered. If you require a crop at actual size, we recommend you size your file before uploading to ensure the dimensions are not changed.

As these material prints are generally small, we do not recommend uploading files larger than 5mb. When selecting either Pima Lawn, Cotton Linen, or Janice Poplin Cotton please be aware that due to the nature of the fabric and our reactive printing process there can be occasional very small white dots where pieces of cotton fluff are removed revealing unprinted white base material.

Please note that this is normal and cannot be avoided but won't affect the strong colors and detailed nature of your print. Print Guidelines. Print Guideline. What's the best resolution to print in? We print at dpi, which is a good combination of quality and file weight.

Our design interface will have a quality marker next to the design that you have uploaded, this will change color using a traffic light system and display a message. The message will let you know if the resolution is too low or if you have a good quality image.

How will my image scale? When you upload your design our system will automatically scale it to fit your chosen fabric dimensions. You can see and edit the dimensions of the image under the quality information next to the thumbnail.

Which color model should I choose? RGB or CMYK? We advise providing images in the RGB color space. Specifically using the sRGB image profile, to achieve best color results.

What does this mean? In your editing software, choose RGB as the working space and assign the image profile as sRGB full name sRGB IEC We have a preview design window set up to 10 yds max to visualize the print, but that's not a print limit.
